Michael M. Michigami, Chairman
Michael is a former CEO of three public companies, including Digital Microwave, Datapoint, and Electronic Associates . In addition, he held senior management positions at United Technologies Corporation, General Electric Capital, Booz Allen Hamilton, Texas Instruments, and Data General. Michael served on several corporate boards, as well as multiple community and educational boards. He currently is on the board of LegiTime Technologies and an advisor to frevvo.com and F-Squared Investments. He received his BA in psychology from Trinity College and his MBA in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
John P. Elton
John Elton is a venture capitalist at iNovia Capital, where he focuses on digital media and software investments in Canada and the US. Prior to joining iNovia, John spent several years as a venture capitalist and advisor to startup companies. Prior to this, John co-managed a venture capital fund for Gulf International Bank. John worked in strategic planning for 24/7 Media and as an investment banker at Veronis Suhler Stevenson a merchant banking firm focused on the media and communications industries.
John is currently a member of, or an observer, on the board of directors of Collective Media, Standout Jobs, and LegiTime Technologies. John received an MBA in finance and marketing from New York University and holds a BA Degree in economics from Lehigh University.
Maatthew Smith

Matthew B. Smith is Managing Director, Investments at CII and serves on the Board of Directors of several CII portfolio firms. Mr. Smith has a multifaceted range of healthcare experiences marked by leading edge business developments. His experiences include co-authoring the first federally funded HMO feasibility study and healthcare ventures with GTE New Ventures Corporation as well as other major medical firms, such as Technicon Corporation, American Hospital Supply Corporation and National Patent Development Corporation. Before joining CII, Mr. Smith co-founded CompreMedx Cancer Centers Corporation, co-owned Kramex Corporation and assisted in the turn-around of venture funded Medical Sterilization, Inc. In addition, he co-founded Health Excel Management, Inc. and turned around another venture funded firm, HelpMate Robotics, Inc. He has served on the Board of Directors for Baseline Medical, Inc., Campus Connects, Inc., New World Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (where he also served as COO) and was Managing Director of Negin-Smith Partnership, a private real estate venture. Mr. Smith has been on the faculty of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and Quinnipiac University School of Business and served as the first Executive Director of that University’s Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Institute. Mr. Smith holds BA and MBA degrees from Boston University.
